Objective : The purpose of this study is to analyze the origin plants and the characteristics of the origin-plants of Bu-Ja, Cho-O, Cheon-O.
Method : To achieve the purpose of this study, bibliographies about Bu-Ja, Cho-O, Cheon-O were examined. The examination was focused on the origin. Standing on this analysis the list and characteristics of the origin plants were presented.
Results : The results indicated that
1. Bu-Ja (Radix aconiti.) in Yakucho(藥徵) is the daughter root of the cultivating Aconitum carmichaeli Debx .
2. O-Du in Yakucho is the tuber of the wild Aconitum kusnezoffii Reichb. and the closely related species, which is Cho-O(Cho-O-Du) today .
3. Cheon-Woong in Yakucho is the 9~12cm tuberous mother root of Aconitum carmichaeli Debeaux, which is Cheon-O today.
Conclusions : In Yakucho, Bu-Ja, O-Du, Cheon-Woong correspond to Bu-Ja, Cho-O, Cheon-O respectively today .
