Objective : This study is to report four cases complaining of neck pain that diagnosed by Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system and treated with the Shanghanlun Shaozhen(燒針) provision herbal medicine.

Methods : Based on the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system, we analyzed four cases treated with Shanghanlun Shaozhen(燒針) provision herbal medicine.

Results : In all cases, the NDI and NRS score improved.

Conclusions : In Shanghanlun, Shaozhen(燒針) may indicate neck pain. And neck pain can be relieved by administering Shanghanlun Shaozhen(燒針) provision herbal medicine.
