Objective : This is a case of a 19-year-old male patient who had been diagnosed with Underactive Neuropathic Bladder and complained of difficulties in voluntary urination.

Method : Based on Korean medical practice, we considered the symptom of Underactive Neuropathic Bladder as the loss of sensation in the lower abdominal region (小腹不仁). Palmijiwhang-hwan (八味地黃丸), which contains Acontii Tuber(附子), was prescribed.

Results : After two weeks of treatment, the symptom was effectively relieved and the total number of catheterization within the treatment period was reduced. The patient currently maintains normal levels of voluntary urination as we reported it in this study.
